ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The primary responsibilities and duties of the GA are, but not limited to:
- Must be punctual and work as scheduled and assist with all opening and closing procedures with fellow team members.
- Offer a high level of prompt and friendly service to each and every customer.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, unloading, and stocking the shelves with merchandise.
- Rotate and face grocery products regularly throughout the day - F.I.F.O.
- Promote products and store events keeping our customers informed of promotions, cooking classes and educational opportunities at the store.
- Where applicable order grocery, frozen food, dairy, and produce items when directed to do so and within the parameters set by the DM.
- Maintain vigilance for potential shoplifting.
- Assist in setting up displays and signage for promotions and special offers.
- Complete projects and assignments on schedule.
- Seek out and assist customers to provide product information assistance when not busy with other customers.
- Any other duties as assigned by the DM, SM or manager in charge.
